Operating Principle: Listening to the Earth’s Subsurface Signals
The ADMT-3HT2 utilizes the “Natural Electric Field Frequency Selection Method,” a geophysical technique known as the Audio-Magnetotelluric Method (ADMT). The Earth naturally generates electromagnetic fields. When subsurface materials differ in electrical properties (primarily resistivity), the electromagnetic field responds differently at various locations and depths. The ADMT-3HT2 uses high-sensitivity sensors to precisely detect these subtle signal variations. Since water is a good conductor, aquifers typically present low resistivity anomalies. The instrument collects data, and the built-in smart algorithm in the mobile app processes and analyzes it quickly to infer the presence, approximate location, depth, and trend of water-bearing structures hundreds of meters underground.
